Welcome to AI Policy Hub, a project from Will Rinehart of the American Enterprise Institute.

I built this resource to track what’s actually happening with AI policy across all levels of government. That means monitoring state legislatures, Congress, federal agencies, and the economic research that informs all of it.

AI regulation is moving fast. States are passing bills at an accelerating pace, federal agencies are issuing guidance, and Congress is debating frameworks that could reshape how AI gets developed and deployed. Keeping up requires tracking hundreds of moving pieces.

AI Policy Hub pulls that work together.

You’ll find summaries of active legislation, analysis of regulatory proposals, and research on the economic consequences of different policy approaches. The goal is to give policymakers, researchers, and anyone following this space a clear picture of where things stand and where they’re heading. Send me ideas for things you’d like to see because I intend to expand content in the near future.
